Next Course: STARTING 14 FEBRUARY 2012!
Take time to invest in your marriage on The Marriage Course. Starting at 7pm and running till 9.30pm each night, The Marriage Course will be held at St Barnabas over 7 consecutive weeks. There is a cost of $40 per couple to cover the course materials.
After a yummy dessert on the first evening and coffee and cookies at the following evenings, a video presentation is interspersed with discussion between husband and wife.
There is no group discussion! Couples will sit at individual tables.
Topics include:
- Building a strong foundation
- The art of communication
- Resolving conflict
- The power of forgiveness
- Parents and in-laws
- Good sex

Young children and their mums or caregivers enjoying music, rhyme, rhythm, creative dance and more.
The aim of mainly music is to provide an environment where young children develop skills to enhance their early education, through the use of music, rhythm, rhyme, and other music related activities with the participation of a parent or primary caregiver.

St. Barnabas Church is situated at 106A Mana Esplanade, Mana, Porirua opposite the Paremata New World and is a 5 minute walk from the Mana train station. Our church is multi-generational and our services are at 10.00am on Sunday morning and 7.00pm on Sunday evening.
We understand our mission to be "to make connection points between individuals in our community and the good news of Jesus Christ".
During the week there are many activities that we run and many groups that use our facilities. Please look through the group pages for more information on the different activities you can participate in at St. Barnabas. We regularly run Alpha and Marriage Courses. If you are interested in any of these, please contact the office for further information.
